GCSE PHYSICAL EDUCATION ASSESSMENTS

We provide GCSE assessments for students choosing the options to ski or snowboard as part of their course work for GCSE Physical Education.
 

Students no longer need to go abroad at great expense to attain their assessments as we can provide this to superior, safer standards here at our venues in Milton Keynes and Yorkshire.
 

We will provide in-depth feedback, written notes befitting the exam body’s criteria and a video of the student’s progress. We will provide an experienced BASI qualified (or equivalent) Coach to deliver the activity and assessment. 
 

The Coach will have experience delivering these assessments for AQA, OCR and Edxcel exam bodies. 
 

This two-hour session consists of two parts:

The student meets the Coach who will explain the venue’s specific Health and Safety. Policy and what to expect from the activity.
 

1) A coaching session will then take place to improve the level of performance for the assessment. The student will be encouraged to assess their own ability and make suggestions of how they can improve. The Coach will enhance these self-assessments and provide the full tuition applicable to the student’s needs.

  

2) Later in the session, the student is filmed carrying out their ski or snowboard skills and feedback is given by the Coach.

 

GCSE Assessment

For both skiing and snowboarding, the Coach will assess the student's technique over a variety of skills on varying terrain, according to the assessment criteria. Our expert Coaches are trained to help each student achieve their potential and they will be encouraged to perform to their optimum. In-depth feedback, including written notes and a video recording will be provided following the completion of each session.
 

Equipment

All necessary equipment including skis, snowboards, boots and helmets are provided by Snozone and included in the activity price. Students will need to bring waterproof clothing, warm clothes, socks and gloves. Socks, gloves and helmets can also be purchased at Snozone.
 

Pre-GCSE Assessment

We request that students email in advance any coursework notes and assessment criteria provided by the exam governing body.

GCSE P.E. Assessments: £159.99 based on a two-hour 1:1 session. Larger groups can be accommodated upon request.
